Thanks for these wonderful sites Warren! I've always felt alone in my passion for sushi because everyone around me either couldn't afford it and now people have had it too much and gotten used to it (and some to the extent of gagging at the sight of sushi).

Growing up and watching my mother and her sister making sushi and eating them out of refrigerated containers for days after that(don't worry, they were the preserved vegetable type), I have never lost my zeal for this fabulous food. Whenever there is a party this is always the stuff I go for first.

I've recently overcome my fear of raw fish and am feeling a little adventurous. Stumbling upon your blog was a wonderful revelation. I am certainly now planning to visit a real sushi bar and try some of the stuff you've mentioned on this blog.

Cheers!

Thanks for publishing such great information! I've loved sushi since I first tried it in college.

My guess is that lots of your new readers have come from Reddit (http://reddit.com)... I know I did!

Hey Warren,

I think your website was linked somewhere and everyone came on over to visit..at least that's how I found you!

I appreciate your blog and learn things here too! Keep up the good work and I'll be back!

Check out a TV show called Gourmet Sushi in Japan (in SF it was on one of the Asian channels, yes we have those!). pretty interesting show if you can catch it.
